Healing through word of god
During my childhood days, I remember, whenever I fall sick and my parents give me medicines, I used to throw it under the bed. Later when my mom sweeps the floor, she will find the medicines underneath…hehehe.
Anyways, coming back to the point…. I started praying about it and deep in my heart I told god that I do not want to visit any doctor. I knew that nothing in life happens without the knowledge of god, hence if he’s given this its god’s responsibility to heal me. Finally one day, one of my very near & dear one called me up and told me, the next time you pray, you repeat this word of god (Proverbs 18:21) and you will see the wonders.
I did the same what he told me and I saw that I received Healing through the word of god….”The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit”
Most of us have experienced healing through medicines, but that day I experienced healing through the word of god.

Ready to hear the Trumpet……?
We were just realizing that in our day to day busy life most of the time we forget about this that we need to hear the voice of the trumpet and are we preparing ourself for that….isn’t a subject to ponder….
How many of us actually pray everyday to god….to prepare us and make us ready to hear that trumpet voice. We know about the subject very well but ultimately we need to hear that voice…..that voice….need to bang our ears so that we get up and go. What if we don’t hear that trumpet voice …….then we have the answer of our future.
Lets tell god that he give us the grace so that we may hear the calling of the trumpet and let that be the aim of life…..
R we tasting good…..by ignoring bad
We as humans always try to search for complaints or things that we don’t have. But have we really thot about the good things that we share or the good experiences that we have.
For eg; imagine there are so many people who are facing bad marriages and having very negative people around. But by gods grace aren’t we lucky to get a great husband, great in-laws, wonderful parents & siblings, wonderful job….etc
Its time that we stop cribbing and start thanking god always for all the wonderful things in life. Every moment is given by god and let’s cherish those moments. Instead of trying to find negativity, lets start to find the positivity and once we start doing that we will realize that there are more positive/ good things than negative/ bad things in life

Surprises from God
Suddenly this Tuesday god surprised me by helping me out miraculously. I just culdn believe that it happened and I could understand that “God works much higher than what we think”
We have a limit on our thoughts but when god works….he works higher than our thoughts and it becomes a miracle or a surprise for us.
“When everything becomes alright, a doubter becomes a child in his belief”
Happiness is….
Happiness is like a perfume which you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.
Doesn’t it feel really good when we hear something that we were waiting for a very long time? Something like this happened to me last Saturday. I was praying and desiring for something quite a long time and I heard the news on Saturday that my best friend is getting married. God does everything perfect at his time J
Sometimes we feel happy when we see others happy. I was so much in joy and my joy doubled when I shared it with my partner, the whole night I couldn’t sleep thinking about her. Sometimes the reason of our happiness becomes a reason for us to forget our other worries.
Happiness always looks small when we hold it in our hands. But when we learn to share it, we realize how big and precious it is!

Ticket Checkers are to Service or Harm Travelers?
Sunday early morning @ around 5:30am, she was planning to leave. We had a small prayer and my husband dropped her to the station. Again, her return ticket was not confirmed. As soon as she crossed the Bangalore city station, TC asked her for the ticket and she said its waitlisted and if he can help her with a berth. To our surprise he started yelling at her loudly and said that a waitlisted ticket is not valid, you have to get down right now. He was accompanied by 2 other policemen and they started to scare her and pressurise her. They dint even give her the consideration of being a lady. She requested them and said that she doesnt even know the next station and it was quite dark outside. They were not ready to listen. To my knowledge the Tc's are appointed to service the people and not torture them.
Finally the TC said that she will have to pay around Rs.1750 as fine. The actual cost of the ticket is just Rs.180. Hearing this she found it ridiculous and told him that with this amount i could have caught a flight. She also knew that as per railway policy u would be fined 3 times if you are buying a new ticket. But this person had fined her 10 times higher than her actual ticket amount. She asked for a voucher and he was not ready to give it. Somehow she couldnt reach us and being Sunday we had to go to church and we were busy in getting ready.
On my way i called her up, and she told me the entire story. I told her that you shouldnt have given him so much money and we decided to lodge a complaint about that TC. Both of us, me and my husband were very disturbed as she had gone from our place. We prayed during the church and we said, God...nothing is impossible with you and plz help her get the money back.
Once we reached home we called her up and to our surprise she told us that the TC came and refunded her money back and just took the fine. I just couldnt believe my ears and i told my husband about it. He was extremely happy to see god answering his prayers.I asked her the details and she told me that, when we were conversing to complain about the TC and as soon as she kept the phone, she saw him standing before him. She said i'm sure he heard our conversation and that mite have made him uncomfortable. When he became uncomforatble god started working and we could experience his wonders and grace one more time in our life. Aint this beautiful....our gods wonders and his everlasting love and care?
"Everything is below god, all our worries and cares. God is above everything"
Few advices while travelling in a Train:
*Be careful and donot be irresponsible about your luggage.
*Always lock your luggage
*Donot keep your money in your luggage bag but always keep it in your handbag
*If you face a situation like this, you have the option of getting into the general compartment rather than getting victimised. Ladies can always opt for Ladies general compartment.
*Donot pay the Ticket Checker more than 3 times of your original ticket price(as per policy).
*Donot get down in any station that they mention. You can go into the general compartment and later decide.
Readers - Any advices or option you would like to give, Plz comment.
Hope all of us has a safe journey always :)

World Recession predicted in Bible...
While Americans have been preoccupied with their economic troubles, other countries all over the world have been experiencing their own problems. Was this predicted in the Bible? If we are in the last days, how bad could it get? The Bible does predict a time of extreme economic difficulties in the last days, and if we are in prophetic times, it could get a whole lot worse.
The current state of the global economy is predicted to be gloomy for a while by many analysts.
In Revelation chapter 6, the six seals are opened in Heaven. When the first two seals are opened, war occurs and countries set out to conquer one another. The third seal, however, deals with the global economy. In Revelation 6:6, a quart of wheat, or three quarts of barley, will sell for a denarius. A denarius was equivalent to a day's wages for a working person. While this is often seen as a verse that predicts that famine will come to the Earth, it also describes a scenario when people will not be spending much money on luxuries, as they will be preoccupied with purchasing food.
It is also said in Zechariah 8 ""Before those days come, there will be no wages, not for man nor beast; I will set every man against his neighbor"
Following are some steps which can help us make through the current bad economy

Ravens Fed Elijah During a Famine. Trust God to Help You Through the Recession.
Living through an economic recession can be scary, but people lived through the Depression. With faith in God and a deep trust in His promises, you can make it through the current bad economy.
Things You’ll Need:
- Bible
- Network of friends
Step1
First, take stock of your situation and honestly assess your resources. Do you have several months of food in your pantry? Do you have a savings account with several months of living expenses in it? These things are important during any economy, but are doubly important during an economic recession.
Step2
Next, create a plan for handling current and potential problems during the economic recession. Make a list of things you will need to tackle, such as an impending loss of housing or jobs.
Step3
Pray over your list of problems, but don't concentrate on asking for a specific item, like staying in your current home. Instead, ask God to guide you to make the right choices to keep your family safe and healthy. Ask him to open doors and to give you the wisdom to walk through them.
Step4
Once you have prayed, be on the lookout for the doors you asked God to open. Remember, He doesn't always answer the way we think he will. If you are hoping to keep your current home, but an elderly family member in another state needs assistance and has been asking you to move back home, that may be the answer to your prayer for housing.
Step5
As you wait on God to answer your problems, reach out to your church and any friends who will pray with you for a solution to your financial problems during the economic recession. Don't let your pride keep you from accepting any help that is offered. During the Depression, people formed networks and helped each other and sharing with those who are in need is something that is mentioned over and over in the Bible.
Tips & Warnings
- Avoid worrying about the current economic recession as you work to provide for your family. Instead, remind yourself that you have already turned to God for help and that you will need to trust in Him to give you the help you asked for.
- If you're feeling discouraged, pull out your Bible and read some of the amazing stories of the Old Testament, like the one in I Kings 17. Forget an economic recession! These people were literally starving to death, yet God sent Ravens to feed Elijah and provided for a faithful woman and her child by guiding his prophet to the door and keeping the oil and meal flowing throughout the famine.
- Stay alert and focused on solving your problems. You don't want to overlook solutions that God has presented because you are distracted by fear or frustration.
- God doesn't force people to do things. We have free will, which means we need to be careful not to ignore the solution God has presented us because it isn't what we want and then wonder why we can't make things turn out right.
God Bless

Is Moral policing required for V.Day?
Well, to begin with I thot of writing this topic as many of my friends were asking me online this week “About my plans for V.day” and my common answer was “dedicating a pink chaddi to Rama sena ppl”(actually I was kidding). But one of my friend Anil suddenly suggested that y don’t I write something on moral policing which struck me and I thot to pen it down.
These days as we read in most of the papers abt women being badly treated by some of the politicians cum goondas, what do us youngsters have to comment on this is my question to the viewers?
Something struck me as I’m blogging, I remember when I was in my 12th Std, we as classmates of Science had gone to Bandstand(Mumbai) one of those days. Bandstand is very well known for its beauty and u will find most collegians having fun there. We were there for abt 2 hrs, had fun and returned back home. The very next day, I see some shocking pictures on the front page of TOI. Few minutes after we left there was attacks by police done to common ppl who were there in bandstand. There were married and unmarried couples, siblings, group of friends…etc among those crowd. The pictures were terrible and this happened agn due to some issue raised by the politician. These ppl were arrested and put in jail for no reason.
After going thru the paper I was just thanking god for his grace once again as I cant think of something like this that could happen in my life. If we would have delayed to go from there few minutes….we would have got it. Its said in Bible that “Angels will protect you in all your ways”
In the first place, if someone is behaving immorally in public, they should already be in trouble under the existing criminal laws. Indecent behaviour, such as public nudity, just to name an example, is banned by almost every civilised country in the world. (A few, mainly European countries, do permit some amount of public nudity, though.)
Creating a moral police which would supposedly enforce "social sanctions" seems rather pointless in such a case. Some might suggest that the moral police would exist to limit things like extremely romantic/sexual/indecent behaviour, but this seems to be a cop out to me.
If society truly believes this behaviour is unacceptable, it wouldn't be a problem criminalising it under the secular law. If one has to form a new enforcement body simply to enforce these additional moral laws, it's suggestive that these moral laws haven't found favour with society at large, and thus what we have is a minority attempting to impose its will on the majority.
In the first place, a moral society would not need moral policing to keep its immoral people in check. A moral society would simply express its disapproval of such behaviour in an informal manner, and shame the offenders into ending the abhorrent actions. If this did not work, the secular law could always be amended to prohibit unacceptable indecent acts. There is no need for a moral police.
Viewers, would appreciate your suggestions on this.

We met up with the concerned person who was very busy like any other big bosses. I forgot to mention something.....b4 meeting the big b i met up with a sweet Hr person of his team(1st Round). My First Job....Times of India
As I promised in my last blog.....here goes the continuation :)
After completion of Post Graduation, (specialised in HR which was my area of interest), I was in a scurry like any other graduate to get a job of my dreams. When i entered in my last Sem, the college i studied had some affliation problems which made all the students worry but by gods grace we conceeded it. Due to this issue our placements were not happening properly through college. Then we as a student formed a group of placement cordinators and with the lots of help from diff sources started contacting the Corporates. Surprisingly students had voted me also from HR as a placement cordinator. I remember, during vacation, we placement cordinators used to go to college and slog somehow to find good companies....yeah sorry to miss out...that we also had hell lot of fun together. Slowly we started becoming good friends.
We could attract good corporates to our college like Sahara, ICICI, HCL, some MNc's....etc. I dunno how, but somehow our names used 2 b always there in the selectees list. The students started feeling that...we were bribing the Corporates...hahah. Anyways to be faithful none of us opted for any of these and finally all of them got placed except we cordinators. Somehow my other team members got a job through references and I was the only me remaining.
Then came those tough days to get a job. Lately I was not getting offers from good companies(most of the offers were from HR consultancy) and my dream was to get into a Corporate. Being a fresher, to get into a Corporate u shud be extraordinary and i knew i was an average student. I cried to god a lot about it when i saw that i was getting unsuccessful. My parents started telling me that u get into a consultancy and then from there u can go forward. But i was adamant as I had got a verse from one of my friend, Jenny one day(a friend who has been like an angel in most of my difficult times even without knowing my difficult situation) " God gives the best and not the second best". It touched me and i decided to wait. Everybody lost hope and thought that i was arrogant, including my parents.
Anyways, gods appointed time came.....I was in Bandra that day with one of my very dearest friend, Remya. I was roaming with her and also was sharing about my agony, pain....lot of other expressions(difficult 2 put in words). She asked me to just keep praying and trusting in god. Suddenly i got a call from another good friend, Binil(one among those placement cordinators and was working with Times of India) that i need to call my college Dean immediately. I called him up and he asked me 2 call this Recruitment Head, TOI . This person had called up my dean as he had 2 requirements for HR. Surprisingly, dean proposed my name and i called him up. He asked me to come for the interview and also told me if i knew somebody like my profile as he had 2 requirements. I said, yes i know and i'l bring her also along with me.She was my classmate who was not in town during placements, I called her up and asked her 2 send the CV and come along with me for the interview. I told this to my friends and there wasn't anybody to support me. It was my interview day and all my friends yelled at me saying how can you do that! This was what they had told me "Its your career and you should not promote anybody else until you clear the interview"(In bold 'She was a person with HR exp in the past and smarter than me anytime').They also asked me to stop her coming for the interview and i knew I had to take decision.Hearing these statements, Tears started rolling from my eyes so much as if i had never cried in my life
Again a a decision moment in my life............
(For the rest of the story and about what i decided.....In My Next Blog)
Have a great Weekend........:)

Chips beat Cancer(hehehe)
"Chips beat Cancer"
As soon as my eyes caught the glimpse of this very sentence i got excited to read more coz like many of us i am also an all time favourite chips muncher(especially those yummy different flavors of ruffles lays:) ) But sometimes most of us avoid it thinking that its oily, fatty..etc. So here's the good news.....
Chips are rich in Vitamin C which consider could fight the deadly disease. It is thought the vitamin tackles dangerous free radicals which are associated with cancer growth. Eating a portion of chips is five times more Vitamin C than a bunch of grapes. Those already suffereing with this disease could even shrink the size of the tumours.
So guys smile and keep munching........

Kodaikanal Christian College....the place where i have memories to cherish
I remember those days when i was in the mist of taking a decision about my career when many advices and comments popped up by my near and dear ones. Being a girl child of a mallu family, i was persuaded to take up science and get into medical field. After my 10th, like most teenagers do, without understanding my interest i took up science. Very soon during my 12th i realised that my desire to become a doctor(people who know me well, please dont laugh) will be in dreams as i was not all that great in science. Then comes the question what next after 12th? After thinking a lot i thot of taking up nursing and continue till MSc Nursing and was all geared up for that no matter what happens. lately, i realised that it was not meant for me either and i dunno how but god put across things for me which i never thot of. After i got my results i saw this prospectus of KCC(Kodaikanal Christian College) and something drove me to go to that college and study.I discussed with my parents and my father being a pastor of a church couldnt afford such a huge amount to spend for my studies.
I must tell u this that when i was a kid and used to see such beautiful places in TV, i used to dream of studying in those places and i also remember of asking god ' will i ever study in such a place'(just like that). i started praying about the finance part and i saw gods grace working in my life. The chairman of the institution offered a 50%scholarship on the fees(whatever fees the students paid for a semester, i used to pay the same for a year) . This was a miracle for me.
Then comes 'the day' of me leaving to kodaikanal. As i climbed those beautiful hills and saw the beauty of nature i was thrilled and started thanking god. I was blessed to see my dream come true though i never thot of it happening in my wildest dreams.
My journey of understanding gods grace started from then. It was a place that made me complete in my personality, gave me wonderful friends who are very close to my heart(these are friends with whom i share a great bond than any other friends), made me spiritually strong and also gave me lot of beautiful experiences. The fun that i had there, havent experienced anywhere else. I got the chance to interact and learn from lot of foreigners, try different kind of cuisines, style, ...etc. Moroever i got the learning to interact with diff status of people. I was a person with stage fear and i remember that day when i had to give a presentation in front of 300+ students and in front of the College Chairman. i had sleepless nights for a long time. God, with his grace helped me to give a fantastic presentation which helped me to groom myself and now i dont get scared to face a crowd :)
I had both happier and tough times but i dont complain for that coz the life that god gave me in kcc made me a strong package with lot of qualities personally and profesionally.
I can truely say it was a period of testing and refining done by god in my life so that i could come out as a PURE GOLD.
Then comes my next stage of studying further(Post Graduation).....again an experience to share.
I again got a 100% scholarship for my MBA and completed my studies. God proved to be amazing again. My journey to my first job starts from here......which i will share in my next blog.
God bless u all :)
