Well, after thinking for a while i thought of sticking to my decision and taking my classmate along with me, no matter what happens. Usually i tell my parents when i go for an interview, but this time i thot of keeping mum as i dint want to raise their expectation. Formally dressed, both of us started towards CST(Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminal) where the office is located. For the first time in my life I was seeing the heritage building(this building is very old, bought somewhere around 1880's) of the no.1 paper. I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the infrastructure. It was so beautiful with those lovely antiques and the interiors as perfect as those ones in 1880's. A huge security from the enterance to staright inside the building upto the stairs as if i was entering the US Counselate...lol
We met up with the concerned person who was very busy like any other big bosses. I forgot to mention something.....b4 meeting the big b i met up with a sweet Hr person of his team(1st Round). Her name is Treesa, with whom i started off a professional relationship and now one among those friends who are very close to my heart :)
Yeah, so after our personal rounds of interview he called both of us again together in the same cabin and looked at us for 2 sec astonished. Then he said, both of you can join from tomorrow....I couldnt believe those words, up went my heart beats as if the happiness were trying to reach the skies. I called up my dad right from the office and told him that I had gone for an interview(he was surprised as i dint tell them) to Times of India and got selected. I also told them, see i had told you people"God wanted me to give the Best and not the second Best"
From here, my professional journey started which gave me good collegues, great exposure than i could ever think of......
All thanks and honour to god. Hope my experience would be an encouragement to some of u :)
